When Mike met Vincent Compagnon, he was more than convinced that this business was worth investing in. Vincent was looking to find a solution for the succession-planning of his tree-nursery business, that there was an excellent company to be preserved . Several potential Paragon partners were interested to do a club-deal, especially since Vincent was willing to stay in the company for the transition period and remain a minority shareholder.
